Microsoft has brought bad news for its Windows 7 users. Microsoft has said that the company is ending support for windows7.
According to information from Microsoft’s support page, Microsoft released Windows 7 on October 22, 2009, and promised to support it for 10 years.
As soon as the deadline ends, the company will stop support for it on January 14, 2020, i.e. after this, the company will not be given any technical support and window updates for Windows7.
Windows 7 is used in most computers and ATM machines in the country. In such a situation, if it stops receiving updates, then it can cause security issues.
The company says that computers will not stop working after extended support is over, but users will stop getting security updates in it.
This means that the risk of viruses and malware in devices running on Windows7 will be greatly increased. The company has advised the users to upgrade themselves to Windows 10 to avoid security risks and viruses.
In March this year, Microsoft had informed about support for windows7 in its blog and said that by the end of 2019, it will start sending notifications to users.
In a blog released in March, the company said that if you want to experience Windows10 in the best way, then for this you will have to buy a new device.
From 14 January 2020 onwards, Microsoft will not provide any technical support for software updates, security updates, and fixing of Windows 7 in Windows 7.
For information, let us tell that Microsoft launched Windows 10 in 2015, but due to the support available for, people did not adopt Windows 10.
