Instagram is the last application that gets dark. The dark mode, or dark theme,
has been gathering fans lately because of its ability to darken the interface, reducing pressure on the eyes.
In addition to being aesthetically pleasing, enabling Dark Mode also makes your device’s battery last longer, so it really is a victory.
Therefore, it is not surprising that Google and Apple have started launching Dark Mode across the entire system on their operating systems,
and application developers are updating their applications to support Dark Mode.
One of the largest third-party applications for new treatments is Instagram. The head of the company,
Adam Mosseri, tweeted today that the application has been updated to take advantage of the native support of Dark Mode on iOS 13 and Android 10.
- Be sure to run iOS 13 on your iPhone.
- Open ‘Settings’ on your device, then go to ‘Screen and brightness’ and tap ‘Dark’.
- Install the Instagram application on your device (or update it to the latest version) and open it.
- Instagram, by default, will automatically respond to your device’s system settings.
- Happy endless scroll!
According to reports, dark mode support is implemented in the Instagram iOS application,
so make sure your smartphone is running the latest version of the application.
However, Instagram has not activated the Dark Mode option inside or outside the application unlike iOS before iOS 13, except for the feature.
This means that it has to match the entire system configuration of your iPhone, which is still quite standard,
since most iOS application manufacturers are adding dark mode support for the first time.
For Android, although it is said that we have not yet managed to get updates, but stay tuned for the Google Play Store.
